Event Details
Boston University India Club [BUIC] presents Junoon at Boston University’s Tsai Performance Center on November 19th, 2011. The show will serve as BUIC’s Fall cultural show. The Hindi word, “Junoon,” is translated into English as the word “passion”. The masters of ceremony have developed a unique and entertaining storyline that will bring the audience back to their exciting college year memories. The show will feature 13 acts prepared and performed entirely by Boston University students. The event will showcase the university’s talent in South Asian forms of dancing, which will include forms of Indian dance such as bhangra, fusion, hindi film dance, and classical bharatnatyam. In addition to dance, there will be a variety of vocal acts which include: singing acts, an a cappella group, and an extremely talent solo performer. In addition, a student-created fashion show, a step and stroll performance by a Fraternity as well as the freshmen and senior class dances will add to the diverse line up of performances.
