I am working on legal immigration reform with a grass roots organization called immigrationvoice that works on immigration reform for legal immigrants primarily India (and we do have some Chinese members). Anyhow, as some of you may know that the path to green card is long one for people from India and China in any employment based category but EB1. The wait times for EB2 range from 4 - 8 years (depending on what time sample you take) and EB3 India at the current levels is at about 10-12 years of wait (actually if you were to apply for EB3 India green card, you will probably get it in 30-70 years). I seek your help in promoting the following bill HR 3012 (Fairness of High Skill Immigrants Act of 2011), which seems to make the green card process first come first serve regardless of which country you are from. Needless to say this act is both fair and has numerous advantages for people from Indian and Chinese origin besides being fair. This bill has passed in US House of Representatives and now is waiting in Senate.
